WHO TO CONTACT IN AN EMERGENCY

Living in a security estate has many advantages including access to a security control room "manned" by personnel 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. The control room operators are trained to assist in contacting the police, ambulance services and fire department. Over and above this, these personnel will also help with other issues including the reporting of water leaks to the municipality and are available to provide general advice and updates to residents.
For residents of Silver Lakes Golf and Wildlife Estate, the Silver Lakes Control Room can be contacted by using the following methods:
- by telephone on 012 809 0424 or 012 809 0425. For identification purposes make sure to know stand number and physical address as the Control Room may need this information; or
- by using the panic/SOS function on the Silver Lakes access app. This can be done by accessing the app on a smart phone, selecting the tab at the top of the screen (next to "bookings") that says "panic". Press and hold where indicated to send a panic alarm to the Control Room which will provide the operators with a location indicator for response to the alarm. Take note that the access app's primary function is to generate codes for visitors and contractors. The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple Store and can be found by searching "Silver Lakes Access Control".
- Silver Lakes' residents can also call the Shift Manager on 072 615 5862.
The Silver Lakes Control Room is in radio contact with armed response staff in vehicles ensuring quick respond to any emergency.
